Your trained and certified doula teaches and assists with postpartum adjustment, newborn characteristics and care, development, breastfeeding and parent-infant bonding. An empathic, compassionate non-judgmental approach.

Because we are providing great practical care tips helping parents trust their own instincts meeting their baby’s needs:

• Bathing, diapering, and umbilical cord care,

• Soothing and Swaddling Techniques

• Assistance in understanding and reading your baby’s cues for feeding and sleeping

• Baby Wearing

 

Your doula is a seasoned professional and is experienced in supporting families through the postpartum period and providing education sensitive, non-judgmental support and companionship. Doulas not only aid by assisting with newborn care, they can also provide assistance with meal preparation, and light household tasks.

Postpartum doulas offer evidence-based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth, infant soothing and coping skills for new parents making referrals when necessary.
